What exactly does CAPTIA Tech do?

How is it different from a traditional consulting firm?
We don't deliver slide decks: we deliver systems running in production. We are the AI business line of CAPTIA Ingeniería, with 15+ industrial clients and real digitalization projects behind us. Every recommendation comes with its implementation.
What kind of companies do you work with?

How much does an AI or automation project cost?
It depends on scope. We always start with a free 30-minute assessment and a fixed quote before starting. First automation projects typically pay for themselves within a few months thanks to the hours saved.
How long does implementation take?
We work in phases with real deliverables: first automations can be in production within 2-4 weeks. Larger projects (AI agents, complex integrations) are planned in sprints with visible results from the first month.
Do you work remotely or only on site?
We work with companies across different sectors, remotely or on site, adapting the collaboration model to what each project needs.
What about data security and privacy?
Every solution is designed to comply with the GDPR, following the AEPD's guidance on processing that incorporates artificial intelligence. Your data is never used to train third-party models, and we can deploy solutions on your own infrastructure if needed.
Do your solutions comply with the EU AI Act?
Yes. We classify each use case by risk tier under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 before development starts, and apply the obligations that follow: transparency towards users, marking of generated content, data governance, human oversight and traceability. Most business projects sit in the "transparency risk" tier rather than the high-risk one. We explain it in full on our AI compliance page.
When does the EU AI Act start binding me?
In phases. Prohibited practices and staff AI literacy have applied since February 2025; general-purpose model obligations since August 2025; general application, including the transparency obligations, from 2 August 2026. High-risk system obligations were deferred to 2 December 2027 (and to 2 August 2028 for systems embedded in regulated products) by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744. The full timeline is here.
